Setting up Veeva Vault Quality Docs as a Source

Guru Access: You need to be an Admin, Source Creator, or relevant custom role to set up Sources

Veeva Vault Access: The authenticating user must have access to the Veeva Vault instance and permission to view the Quality Docs you want to sync.

Setting up Veeva Vault Quality Docs as a Source

1. In Guru, go to Manage.
2. Select Sources, then click Add Source.
3. Choose Veeva Vault Quality Docs from the list of integrations.
4. Authenticate using your Veeva Vault credentials:
   • Enter your username and password
   • Provide your Veeva Vault domain information
5. Configure document selection criteria (documents must meet one of these conditions):
   • Documents with Lifecycle = "Draft to Effective Lifecycle" AND Status = "Effective"
   • Documents with Lifecycle = "Draft to Approved Lifecycle" AND Status = "Approved"
6. Add a display name for the Source (optional) and click Connect Source.
7. Assign which Guru Groups should have access to this content.

The integration will begin its initial full sync, bringing in both PDF content and metadata for qualifying documents.
