Setting up Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales as a Source
Connecting Microsoft 365 Sales makes it easy to surface customer data, sales records, and opportunity information directly in Guru. Learn how to connect your Microsoft 365 Sales account and turn existing sales data into trusted, searchable resources.
Access RequiredGuru Access: You need to be an Admin, Source Creator, or relevant custom role to set up Sources.
Microsoft 365 Sales Access: You have Administrator or Manager permissions in your company's Microsoft Dynamics instance or someone has shared their access with you.
Setting up Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales as a Source
- In Guru, go to Manage.
- Select Sources, then click Add Source.
- Choose Microsoft 365 Sales from the list of integrations.
- Select Authorize Access.
- Enter your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales subdomain. For example, if the URL that you see while logged into your account is "acme.crm.dynamics.com", enter acme.crm.
- Authorize using your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales credentials.
- Add a display name for the Source (optional) and click Connect Source.
- Assign which Guru Groups should have access to this content.
Objects synced from Microsoft 365 Sales
Primary objects are the objects used to generate the search record.

- When you connect Microsoft 365 Sales as a source in Guru, you'll permission that content in Guru. Learn more here.
- If someone is not provided with access in Guru to this source, they will not see Microsoft 365 Sales results in searches or when chatting with Guru.
