Setting up Airtable as a Source
Integrating Airtable as a Source in Guru allows teams to leverage the structured data and collaborative content stored in Airtable to generate real-time, AI-driven Answers in Guru.
Access RequiredGuru Access: You need to be an Admin, Source Creator, or relevant custom role to set up Sources.
Airtable Access: The authenticating user must have access to the Airtable Base(s) you want to connect and authorization to grant OAuth permissions to Guru.
Setting up Airtable as a Source
- In Guru, go to Manage.
- Select Sources, then click Add Source.
- Choose Airtable from the list of integrations.
- Authenticate using your Airtable account credentials.
- Follow the prompts to sign in to your Airtable account.
- Grant Guru permission to access your Airtable Bases.
- In the configuration wizard, select the Base you want to sync.
- Select the Table within that Base.
- Choose the title field that will appear as the source title in Guru search results.
- Add a display name for the Source (optional) and click Connect Source.
- Assign which Guru Groups should have access to this content.

Primary objects are the objects used to generate the search record.

NoteThe field you designate as the "title field" during setup will appear as the source title when users search or receive answers in Guru.
Permissions
- When you connect Airtable as a source in Guru, you'll permission that content in Guru. Learn more here.
- If someone is not provided with access in Guru to this source, they will not see Airtable results in searches or when chatting with Guru.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sync multiple Tables from the same Base? Each Source connection syncs one Table from one Base. To sync multiple Tables, set up separate Source connections for each Table you want to bring into Guru.
