Setting up Workday Help Articles as a Source
Before you begin, you'll need to create a Workday API Client within your Workday instance. This requires Workday admin access and must be configured with the correct OAuth redirect URL.
- In Guru, go to Manage.
- Select Sources, then click Add Source.
- Choose Workday Help Articles from the list of integrations.
- Authenticate using your Workday API Client credentials.
- Configure your sync preferences:
- Audiences: Select one or more audiences who should have access to the articles.
- Article Statuses: Choose which article statuses to include (e.g., published, draft).
- Click Connect Source.
- Assign which Guru Groups should have access to this content..
Objects synced from Workday Help Articles
The following information is synced from each Workday Help Article:
Object | Details |
---|---|
Article Title | The title of the help article |
Article Content | Full content body of the help article |
Article URL | Direct link to the article in Workday |
Article ID | Unique Workday Help Article identifier |
Note: This integration does not support native permissions syncing due to the sensitive nature of Workday's API data. You'll need to manage access permissions within Guru using Groups.
