Guru Knowledge Agents uses generative AI to deliver trusted responses to user questions. The Knowledge Agent analytics dashboard shows how effectively this supports your team, highlighting where users find information and where gaps exist.

Admin role

• Everything across your entire workspace

Edit access to at least one Collection as Owner, Author, or Editor)

• All Cards you can access across any Collection
• Cards & Collections dashboard
• Adoption and Users & Groups dashboards

Own specific Pages

• Only the Pages you own
• Adoption and Users & Groups dashboards

Own specific Knowledge Agents

• Only the Knowledge Agents you own
• Adoption and Users & Groups dashboards

Viewer access everywhere

• No analytics access

Accessing the Knowledge Agents analytics dashboard

  1. Navigate to Analytics > Knowledge Agents tab in the Guru web app.

Understanding Knowledge Agent reports

The data available in the Knowledge Agent report:

  • Knowledge agent name
  • Answer ID (links out to the AI Agent Center answer)
  • Date the question was asked
  • Question
  • Answer
  • Status
    • Not Answered - Knowledge Agent could not generate an answer but the answer was not given a thumbs up/thumbs down
    • Answered - Knowledge Agent did generate an answer but the answer was not given a thumbs up/thumbs down
    • Helpful - the answer given was given a thumbs up
    • Not Helpful - the answer given was given a thumbs down
  • Asker name
  • Asker email
  • Asker group
  • Whether the question was assigned to an expert
  • Latest feedback
    • Whether there was a thumbs up / thumbs down provided on the answer. This information is also found under the Status column labeled as "helpful, not helpful"
  • Comment associated with that feedback
  • Sources used to answer the question
  • Last modified date

How to utilize Knowledge Agent Analytics

Use Knowledge Agent Analytics to understand how your team is using Guru to find the information they need to do their work.

  • Filter by Knowledge Agent to identify which agents are being used most effectively.
  • Filter by thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback to assess how well the AI is being trained and identify areas for improvement. Use this feedback to help inform verification automation.
  • Review questions and answers holistically to evaluate answer quality.
  • Improve agents by refining their sources, prompts, and configurations to improve future responses.

Frequently Asked Questions about Answers analytics

How do I know if my team is getting helpful answers? Can I resolve unanswered questions?
Visit the AI Agent Center to review the last 90 days of questions, answers, and their source content. From this dashboard, you can reassign flagged or unanswered questions to subject matter experts to improve future responses.
