Setting Up Sharefile as a Source

Access Required

Guru Access: You need to be an Admin, Source Creator, or relevant custom role to set up Sources

ShareFile Access: The authenticating user must have Sharefile admin access. OAuth2 authentication is used for secure connection.

Setting up ShareFile as a source

1. In Guru, go to Manage.
2. Select Sources, then click Add Source.
3. Choose ShareFile from the list of integrations.
4. Authenticate using your ShareFile account credentials via OAuth2.
   1. Go to the ShareFile API Keys page
   2. Click "Create New" to create a new app
   3. Set the Redirect URI to: https://oauth2.integrations.getguru.com/callback
   4. Save your app and then use the generated Client ID and Client Secret in the fields in Guru.
5. Add a display name for the Source (optional) and click Connect Source..

Objects synced from ShareFile

Guru will source all connected Sharefile documents in Guru.

Permissions

Sharefile uses OAuth2 for authentication it inherits native permissions from ShareFile.
