Setting up Ironclad as a Source
Connecting Ironclad to Guru makes your contract data searchable and accessible right where your team works. Use Ironclad as a Source to generate AI-powered answers from your contract information without manually creating Cards for every document.
Access RequiredGuru Access: You need to be an Admin, Source Creator, or relevant custom role to set up Sources.
Ironclad Access: The authenticating user must have access to the Ironclad workspace and the specific contracts or workflows you want to sync.
Setting up Ironclad as a Source
- In Guru, go to Manage.
- Select Sources, then scroll to find Ironclad in the list of available sources.
- Click Add Source next to Ironclad.
- Select the content you want to sync (optional filtering by date).
- Authenticate using your Ironclad account credentials.
- Grant Guru permission to access your Ironclad data.
- Add a display name for the Source (optional) and click Connect Source.
- Assign which Guru Groups should have access to this content.
Objects synced from Ironclad
Primary objects are the objects used to generate the search record.

Permissions
- When you connect Ironclad as a source in Guru, you'll permission that content in Guru. Learn more here.
- If someone is not provided with access in Guru to this source, they will not see Ironclad results in searches or when chatting with Guru.
