How to unverify a Guru Card

See something wrong with a verified Card? Users with Collection owner or author permission to the Collection where a Card belongs can manually unverify a Card. All users can highlight the text in the Card containing the issue and leave a comment @mentioning the name of the verifier so that they'll receive your feedback. The verifier receives a notification for both of these actions.

  1. Open the Card you wish to request verification of in the web app or the browser extension.
  2. Select the Verified trust state at the top left of the Card.
  3.  Click Unverify this Card.
  4. You can then select Request Verification. This will notify the Card's Verifier via email or Slack that you would like the Card to be verified.

How to verify a Guru Card

Unverified Cards are visible to all users and accessible via search and as sources for Guru's suggested answers. Collection owners and authors should review unverified Card content and decide whether to edit and verify or archive the Card. Guru's automated system of reminders and automatically populated work queues makes this easy to manage.
