Group Impact Analytics

On the Group Impact analytics dashboard, reports are categorized by Group, offering team managers a comprehensive overview of their team's utilization of Guru. Each user's actions are associated with all the Groups they belong to.

Note

All Analytics widgets will update every 1-2 hours with your team's information. Analytics data will go back to the date that the user started using Guru.

Accessing the Group Impact analytics dashboard

Navigate to the Analytics in the web app and click on the Group Impact tab.

Understanding Group Impact reports

Below is a summary of each widget and the insights provided:

Card creation by group

• A horizontal bar chart displaying the total number of Cards created by each Group in the specified timeframe.
• To view all rows (i.e. all Groups), download the report as a CSV.
•  Use this chart to determine which Groups are documenting the most or least knowledge in Guru.

Card actions by group

• A horizontal stacked bar chart displaying the total number of actions (Card views, Cards created, Card Copies, Cards Verified, Comments Created) a Group has taken in the specified timeframe.
• To view all rows (i.e. all Groups), download the report as a CSV.
• Use this chart to determine which Card actions each Group is or is not taking.

Feature usage by group

• A horizontal stacked bar chart displaying the total number of actions (Searches, Questions asked, Questions answered, Cards followed, and Cards favorited) taken in the specified timeframe by Group.
• To view all rows (i.e. all Groups), download the report as a CSV.
• Use this chart to determine which feature areas - search, Ask an Expert, follow a Card, and favorite a Card - your workspace members are or are not engaging with.

Announcement read rates by group

• A horizontal bar chart displaying the percent of announcements read in the specified timeframe by a member of the Group.
• To view all rows (i.e. all Groups), download the report as a CSV.
• Use this chart to monitor engagement with announcements.

Announcement send rates by group

• A horizontal bar chart displaying the number of announcements sent in the specified timeframe by a member of the Group.
• To view all rows (i.e. all Groups), download the report as a CSV.
• Use this chart to monitor which groups are or are not utilizing announcements.

Downloading and scheduling report delivery

You can easily download individual reports as CSV files or schedule the entire dashboard to be emailed to you on a recurring basis.
