Signing in to Guru

Using email and password

1. Go to the Guru sign-in page.
2. Enter your email and password.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot your password? and follow the prompts to reset it. You’ll receive a reset link at your email address from [email protected]. If you don't receive a link, contact support.

Using Google Authentication

1. On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Google.
2. You'll be authenticated using your Google account credentials.

Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

1. If your team uses SSO, you must log in via your organization's Identity Provider (e.g., ADFS, Microsoft Azure, Okta).
2. If you’re unsure whether your team uses SSO or which provider to use, contact your Guru Admin.

Managing your account

Changing your password

1. Click your avatar in the upper right corner of the Guru web app.
2. Select Edit profile.
3. Click Change your password.
4. Enter your current password, then your new password, and confirm the change.
5. Click Save. A confirmation message will appear.

Troubleshooting sign-in issues

Not receiving emails

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Ensure your IT team isn’t blocking emails from [email protected].
• If you usually sign in through Google or SSO, you may not have a Guru-specific password to reset. Try signing in through your original method.

Can’t see team content

• You may have joined a duplicate or trial team.
• Contact Guru Support for help resolving this issue.

Issues with SSO

• Make sure you're using the correct Identity Provider set up by your team.
• Admins can always login without SSO as measure to prevent account lockout.

Didn’t receive an invitation

• Try signing up directly on the Guru Sign Up page.
• Check your spam folder for the verification email.

Switching between Guru workspaces

In the web app and browser extension

1. Click your avatar in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Select Switch Workspace.
3. In the settings menu, go to Workspaces.
4. Click Switch to workspace next to the workspace you want to access.
