Migrate Notion
When you migrate Notion content into Guru, all your information will be readily available in editable Guru Cards, searchable by keywords, and even used by Guru to suggest answers to user questions.
Access Required
You must have admin + author access OR Collection owner access for the specific Collection to migrate content from Notion into Guru. The Answers feature is available to workspaces on the All-in-one and Enterprise plans.

How to migrate content into Guru from Notion
Part 1: Exporting content out of Notion
- To export your entire workspace in Notion, go to Settings & Members at the top of your left-hand sidebar. More on these steps in Notion's Help Center.
- Select Settings.
- Select Export all workspace content in HTML format.
- You'll receive an email from Notion with a link to download your .zip file.
Tip
For greater control over what content will be imported into Guru, you may want to export individual pages or databases as HTML following these steps in Notion's Help Center.
Part 2: Importing your Notion content into Guru
- Once you have a zipped file of your Notion Space, navigate to Settings in the Guru web app.
- Click the Collections tab.
- Click the Collection settings ellipses ("â‹®") in the top right of the Collection where you want to import the content.
- Select Import Content and then Notion.
- Drag and drop or upload the downloaded file that you received from Notion, then click Start Import.
- Your file will be uploaded to our migrator tool where we will process the file into a readable format for Guru, compress the file, then upload it to the designated Collection.
Due to the nature of these jobs, the general waiting time can sometimes exceed 30 minutes. An email will be sent once the migration is complete.
