My team uses an Identity Provider and I'm having trouble signing in through the Guru web app.

Once SSO is turned on for your team, Guru users can only log in through the Identity Provider. If you're not familiar with navigating your team's Identity Provider, please loop in an Admin.

Admins can always log in to Guru via username and password as a failsafe. If you're an Admin in Guru and are still having trouble signing in through the Guru web app, it's possible that you have not set up a native login just yet. To create a native login, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Log out of your Guru account

  2. Using the SAME EMAIL that was connected to your SSO provider, fill in First Name, Last Name, and Email, and create a new Password.

  3. Click the green button Create Account (this is not creating a new Guru account, just reconnecting your user to your current Guru instance)

  4. You will then receive an email notification with a verification link to authenticate the change.

  5. Click the link and sign in.

  6. Guru should appear the same as before with all of your Collections and content.
