Forgot your Guru Password?
If you sign in to Guru using your email address and a unique password:
Visit the Guru sign-in webpage and select Forgot your password? at the bottom of the screen.
Insert the email address you use to sign into Guru and select Reset password.
You will receive an email from email@example.com with a hyperlink to reset your password. If you do not receive this email, please contact the Guru Support Team.
A Guru Team's Admin cannot reset the password for a user on their Team. A user must reset their own password.
Change your Guru Password
You cannot reset your password using the Guru Extension and will be automatically redirected to the Guru web app.
Click on your picture/avatar in the top right corner. (This turns into a Settings gear icon when you click it.)
Select Edit Profile.
Click the link Change your password.
On the next screen, enter your Current password, enter a New password, and then enter the new password again in the Confirm password box.
A temporary notification ✔ Password changed will confirm your edit at the bottom of your screen.
If you use the "Sign in with Google" button to access Guru
If you sign in to Guru using the Sign in with Google button (Google Auth), Guru is using the password from your Google account. To change this password, you must do so inside your Google Account. More advice can be found in Google’s help center article Change or Reset your password.
If you use single sign-on to access Guru
If your team uses a single sign-on (SSO) provider to manage your access to your Guru account, you must reset your password with the chosen Identity Provider (ADFS, Microsoft Azure, Okta, OneLogin, Google Suite, etc.). If you're unsure if your team uses single sign-on, please reach out to an Admin for help.
