After clicking on the three ellipses, select “Create Card” and a dialogue will appear.
Then, select which Collection, Title, and Content you’d like to include in your Card.
Click “Save” to save your Card in Guru.

OR create a Card in a Slack channel by @mentioning Guru (i.e.
@guru create card).
Guru will redirect you to create the Card in a Slack thread, where you can then select the Collection, Verifier, Verification Timeline, Boards, and Tags.
Alternative Method #2
To turn a Slack post or message into a Card, you can add the heavy plus sign emoji () as a reaction on the applicable message. (If you would like to use another emoji to trigger the Card creation process, reach out to us at email@example.com)
The Guru app for Slack will redirect you to create the Card in a Slack thread, where you can then select the Collection, Verifier, Verification Timeline, Boards, and Tags.
If you'd like, once you've completed the Card creation process you can delete the thread.
NOTE: For @Guru to create a Card in Slack using the emoji reaction, the App needs to be a member of the channel. To do this, you can type
/invite @guru in the appropriate channel.

If the Tags/Boards you would like to utilize are not already in your Guru account you can create new Tags and Boards in advance of creating your Card by typing
