Microsoft Outlook Integration

Edition: Essential, Team, Enterprise
Role: Read Only, Author, Admin

In the spirit of Guru empowering your team where they work, we offer a Guru integration for Microsoft Outlook in both the Outlook web application and the Outlook desktop application. If you have content tracking turned on, the information you need will autofill from the compose page of an email.

NOTE: If the integration is turned on in the Outlook browser version, it will automatically surface in the Outlook desktop version.

Activating the Guru integration for Outlook:

In Chrome

  1. Navigate to the App store of Outlook, search Guru, and install the integration as an "Add-In"

  2. After installing the "Add-In", you'll notice in "Old" Outlook that a green Guru button shows up in the body of emails or when composing emails. If you're in the "New" Outlook version, you'll access this through the ... menu on an email.

  3. Click this Guru button to open up the Guru integration.
