Microsoft Outlook Integration

In the spirit of Guru empowering your team where they work, we offer a Guru integration for Microsoft Outlook in both the Outlook web application and the Outlook desktop application. If you have content tracking turned on, the information you need will autofill from the compose page of an email.
NOTE: If the integration is turned on in the Outlook browser version, it will automatically surface in the Outlook desktop version.
Activating the Guru integration for Outlook:
Navigate to the App store of Outlook, search Guru, and install the integration as an "Add-In"
After installing the "Add-In", you'll notice in "Old" Outlook that a green Guru button shows up in the body of emails or when composing emails. If you're in the "New" Outlook version, you'll access this through the
...menu on an email.
Click this Guru button to open up the Guru integration.
Click "Sign-In". This will take you to a new tab in your browser.
Log-in like you would to the regular web application.
Upon returning to the Outlook browser tab, you should be logged into the Guru pane on the right side of Outlook.
In the Outlook desktop app
Open your desktop Outlook instance
Open an email you have received or start to compose a new email.
NOTE: If you've already installed the browser integration, the desktop integration should automatically show in the form of a Guru button.
Click the Guru button to open the integration on the right side of the desktop app
Click "Sign-In". This will open up a new browser page to sign into.
Signing in will trigger a pop-up window. Sign-in again in the pop-up window, and copy the PIN that you are given.
Go back in the desktop application, type in the PIN number.
Voila! Feel free to resize your window in the desktop as you see fit.
