Authentication

When signing up for the Guru service, you'll be prompted to enter either your single sign on credentials (based on your chosen SSO solution) or to sign up and log in with your own email address and password.

Once you're authenticated, a "cookie" will be stored that contains a specific security token that is used to identify you to the Guru Service. This cookie will be used to re-authenticate you whenever the session expires. We may also use cookies in connection with third party applications tied to our Service, such as user analytics. These cookies may collect personally identifiable information, but signing out of the Guru extension clears the cookie.

Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting them. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Service.
