Authentication

Once an individual user has installed the Guru Extension from the Google Chrome Webstore, the user will be prompted to enter either their Google user/identity credentials or to sign up and login with their own email address and password.

Once authenticated, a "cookie" will be stored that contains a specific security token that is used to identify you to Guru. This "cookie" will be used to re-authenticate the user whenever the user session expires. We may also use cookies in connection with third party applications in conjunction with our Service, such as user analytics; such cookies may collect PII about users. Signing out of the extension will clear this "cookie".

Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Service.
