Setting up SCIM through Azure


Optimize SCM for your team's Guru account with Microsoft Azure.

Note: In order to set up Azure SCIM you must first set up SSO for Azure. Want to learn more about SCIM before getting started? Click here for more.

  1. Open​ ​​ and toggle ​"Authorize SCIM Provisioning" ON.

  2. Navigate back to your Apps landing page in Azure, and select Provision under the “Manage” section in the left column to get started.

  1. Identify Automatic as your “Provisioning Mode”.

  2. For “Admin Credentials” enter the following:

    1. Tenant URL -

    2. Secret Token - Copy the SCIM Username and SCIM Token fields from Guru, then paste both of these into this field separated by a colon.

  3. Confirm by selecting Test Connection (you should see confirmation in the top right corner of the page.)

    1. NOTE: To continue on to the next step you may need to refresh your page or select save. Then, back on the Guru app landing page, select Edit Provisioning at the top of the screen.

  4. Under “Mappings”, choose Provision Azure Active Directory Users.

  1. Your Attribute Mappings should mirror those listed below.

    1. NOTE: Capitalization matters.

    2. NOTE: Ensure that Create, Update, and Delete are checked off.

    3. NOTE: the customappsso Attribute needs to be updated from the default value.

  1. Save these settings. That's it! You are all set. 🚀
