Importing Content from Guru
Roles: Admins, Collection Owners
Move a Collection from one team to another or restore a backup of a Collection using our Guru import feature.
Guru enables you to import content that has been exported from Guru as a Collection using our Content Export feature. This file will be downloaded as a zip file. To learn more about how to export Guru Collections, check out this article here.
How to Import Exported Guru Content into Guru
Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of the Guru Web App (https://app.getguru.com).
Select Team Settings.
Navigate to the Collections tab under Users & Collections.
Choose the Collection that you wish to import your Guru Content.
Click the gear icon at the top right corner of the Collection block & select Import Content.
Select Guru from the options to import your content from an existing source.
Click Select a zip file and open the zip file of the Collection exported through Guru Content Export .
The zip file of the Collection exported through Content Export will be sent to the email address you use to sign into Guru.
Once you select your Guru zip file from your downloaded files, the job will be queued. This job can exceed 30 minutes depending on your file size.
An email will be sent to the email address you use to sign into Guru once this import is complete.

FAQ: Can I import Cards exported through Card Manager back into Guru?
At this time, Guru can only import Guru Collections that have been exported through our Content Export feature.

FAQ: Can I import .zip files from my personal drive that are not exported from Guru?
Yes! You can import zip files into Guru using the Other option when you select Import Content on the Collection page.
